I have heard that apple cider vinegar can help you lose weight. So I bought some. Now what? Do I drink it or what?

From what I've seen, this is a fad diet with absolutely no basis in fact. Sorry.

Among other things, I tried this for awhile. All I lost was my appetite for anything with vinegar in it for awhile.

Catty, you take two tablespoons of it along with a glass of water once in the morning, before every meal, and before bed.

It will reduce appitite and also has other medicinal benefits.

Cider Vinegar is good for somethings, for others it is not good.

The dosage given by Kat is correct.

2 Tablespoons. It is nasty tasing so have lots of water handy.

Actually with this diet you are supposed to drink at least a gallon of pure water a day as well - No, not all at once, but through the course of the day.

Vinegar is a cleansing agent, it will help to flush out the toxins - thus the need to drink lots of water.

Cheers

David

PS - It doesn't cause weight loss, it will cause the body to have reduced hunger, that and coupled with the water will make you feel more full during the day so you eat less.

I have heard that if you are taking medicines, that you should space the time between taking the vinegar, and taking your meds.

Catty, for information on the benefits of cider vinegar, go to www.paulbragg.com

Mr. Bragg was a nutritionist who ran a "fat farm" in Hawaii and was consultant to many well-known people including Jack LaLanne. I'm told he was very successful, however extreme.

Read his bio on the web page and decide for yourself.

The wife of the former Mayor Daley of Chicago (Hizzoner Himself) gave the advice that vinegar placed in bowls would eliminate the smoky atmosphere of smoke-filled rooms. (Hint #162 at doñadiana's link). She should know.
