I have looked and looked, and one thing I haven't been able to find is whether decaffeinated green tea (tea bags) contains the same beneficial properties, or if the process of decaffeinating it strips anything from it.
I know that green tea has less caffeine than coffee, and the "energy" issue isn't a problem for me, but drinking it in the evening is why I want it decaf. After researching a little on the subject, I think I'll drink more of it, as long as I know I'm getting the benefits.
I'm pretty sure the decaf green tea does the same stuff. I don't know for sure, but it's the green, not the caf. Bigelow also makes a number of green teas with other flavors, like lemon and mint and peach and mango, too, and I think some come in decaf.

Thanks Elexina - I found some today made by "Good Earth" that states on the package that it was naturally decaffeinated to preserve the antioxidants, etc.
It actually has a flavor too! So many I've tried don't. I had some and didn't add any sweetener, and still liked it
