Can someone remind me what the point allotments are for different weight ranges, for men and women? My husband is thinking about starting Weight Watchers and I don't remember the men's stuff, I only remember that I get 20 points a day... Can you tell me the ranges? Thank you!!!

I just borrowed a Weight Watchers book from a co-worker. She told me the points are the same for men as they are for women. This is what the information shows:

Your weight right now: Daily POINTS Target
    less than 150 lbs 20
    150-174 lbs 22
    175 to 199 lbs 24
    200 to 224 lbs 26
    225 to 249 lbs 28
    250 to 274 lbs 30
    275 to 299 lbs 31
    300 to 324 lbs 32
    325 to 349 lbs 33
    350 lbs or more 34

Growing teenagers:
Females under 16 and males under 19, increase your daily POINTS Target by 2 for an extra serving of milk products.

Sorry I can't link to a specific source. Apparently Weight Watchers doesn't post this info on their website - unless perhaps you are a paying member.

You rock, Georgia!! Thank you!! ...I really thought it was different for men and women, but whatever. That's fine. We just wanted an idea of how much the boy can eat. Smile
Yeah, I think you have to pay to get any actual information from their site, which makes sense I guess. Apparently, "Points" are highly classified!!

Thank you!!

You would think they would be different but the woman who sits next to me is in Weight Watchers and I asked her specifically for the men's points and she said they were the same for either men or women. She had her little "kit" with her yesterday and showed me the brochure with the point section in it so I copied it straight to my response to you. Glad I was able to help Smile
