I take a multi vitamin everyday but I don't really feel any different.

What supplements do you take?
Do you see a difference when you take them?

I take a multi-vitamin to balance out the days my diet isn't the healthiest.

You won't see a difference... until you are 80 and have so many body system problems from cummulative damages of poor nutrition.

I got really sick back in May/June and it helped me to start losing weight. To make sure I was getting all the vitamins I was not getting in the food I was eating I started taking an array of supplements, with my doctors approval. I now take women's ultra vitamin/mineral, Vit. C, calcium/magnesium, horse chestnut, gugulipid, potassium, fish oil and garlic...humm, might be a few more. I don't know if it's the supplements or the weight lost but my cholesterol is down. I used to take 7 prescription medications and now I only have to take three. I feel great. I am in an exercise program. I think it would be the combination of all this that makes me feel so alive and health now.

I take Centrum Complete. I don't feel any different physically, but it makes me feel better knowing that I am getting what my body needs.

I take a one a day vitamin - simply because I know my average diet is not a good one.

Lately I have also been eating KNOX gelatin for my joints (One pack mixes with water) That is sort of a supplement.

If you do decide to take a one a day, please make certain that you are taking the right dosage.

Though many of the bottles out there have 'One a Day' on the label in big letters, you will find when you read the directions that two or more tabs are recommended.

Also it is best to have a hydrated body in order to absorb and get the most benefit out of those vitamins.

The suggested amount of water is 6-8 tall glasses a day. No, you do not have to drink it all at once, but you should drink water during the whole day.

Did you know that even mild thirst is the first symptom of dehydration?

Cheers

David

I take a multivitamin, and for the same reason as Sherasi---for those days my eating habits aren't the greatest.

A Centrum(From A to Zinc I think is the name), Concerta(for the face I think), Strattera(for ADD), and Doxycycline(and this also help clear my face up). I definetly see a difference when I take Stattera, I am less outspoken than I already am, less appettite, and have less discrimination of senses(I always feel comfortable the way I'm sitting and the way my hands are placed and I believe my lack of taste is also part of that). I don't notice that much of the others but I think they still do stuff and my parents think it's helpful enough and so think it's best.

I need to take vitamins, but I can't find a pill that's small enough. I've bought several brands but they are too big to swallow.

I've never heard of the Royal Jelly. Sound like that might be a winner.

Thanks Clare, that's a good idea. I tried cutting with a knife, but the pill was so hard, and when it did split, it was jagged and one piece was a lot bigger than the other, plus it popped on the floor. Frown

I take vitamin C, E, B complex, Magnesium, Calclium, Zinc, Lecithin, Garlic, and Chromium picolinate. These are the vitamins contained in Metabolife brand diet pills. I read the label and take them all seperately. I am thinking they may help with energy and weight loss.
