Any time you introduce foreign hormones to your body, you are taking a significant risk. Our bodies regulate the hormones we need in exact amounts, and unless you have a hormone imbalance (say, thyroid disease or menopause) you are literally taking your life in your hands by taking hormones. No one, not even "experts", can predict what these hormones could effect.

I don't believe this method is safe, but as a matter of fact, diet pills are not safe either and a lot of people take them. If a person is very unhappy about being obese, and the doctor would approve it, then give it a try.

amphetamines and methamphetamines are used help obesity, and God knows they're not safe. It's my personal opinion that to prescribe medication for obesity won't cure it in the slightest. Sometimes obesity requires medication, I know; but I think that motivation and perserverance are the two safest ways to cure obesity.
