I just bought the Core Secrets fitness ball. My doctor suggested the workout ball for me since it would be easier on my neck and shoulders. When I inflated the ball it seemed so big and tight. I now have it slightly under inflated and its more bouncy. It comes with a black tape which wraps around the ball. When the tape is tight, the ball is supposed to be the right size. The problem is that the ball seemed so hard when its full. The one at my doctor's office didn't seem that hard. When it was full and I tried to do situps and it was difficult. So am I just not used to the ball? Should I keep it slightly under inflated or inflate it to the right size? I called the toll free number at Core Secrets. They weren't much help. The site says you could underinflate to fit your size but the girl on the phone said I shouldn't. Underinflating just made it a little more softer. I'm 5'3" if that makes a difference. I'm still not sure what to do. Confused Any suggestions?

I took my ball into the doctor today (boy did I look stupid carrying it in! LOL). She said it was good for it to be slightly bouncy. Its a perfect fit for me. (about 85% full) I worked out today and really felt my muscles working. It is much better on my back and neck to do the situps lying on ball. I may actually do them now. Wink I even used weights.

Have you ever used a fitness ball?
Did you fill it up completely?
Any comments?

I've been working out with the ball and I really like it. I've been doing other exercises too and I'm starting to see a little difference. Its going to take some time. One of the problems for me is that exercising doesn't come natural for me. Getting up and doing it is half the battle. Once it becomes part of my lifestyle, I'm sure it will be much easier. So far- so good. Yeah.. *clap *clap *clap Smile

My mom has one and she seems to be using it. In fact she rarely uses any equipment for very long and in this case it is in her livingroom and she seems to be using it. Smile
