The Coke with low carbs isn't diet. It is closer to regular Coke. ( That way you don't get the diet taste and you can cut your carbs and calories a little without giving up the taste) It is sort of in the middle. Diet Coke has 0 calories and 0 carbs. C2 has 70 calories and 18 carbs. Coke Classic has 140 calories and 39 carbs. C2

It's all about taste. I, personally, can't stand the taste of diet soda. I did, however, like Pepsi 1, which was this same sort of thing.

Funny side story: I was checking peanut butter to see which ones are healthiest and one of them had this "Carb Smart" version of their peanut butter (Jif or Skippy, it was, I think). I checked it out: same amount of fat, carbs, sodium, EVERYTHING as in their regular peanut butter!! They're just cashing in on the "low carb" craze and claiming their product is now low carb, even though it always has been relatively low. That's like cookies advertising that they don't have trans fat. Well, they never did have trans fat in the first place! Again, just cashing in on the latest in public opinion.

Along the same lines, Subway now sells "carb controlled" cookies. Ok, they're controlled, but at what amount? High? Low?

Sagus likes the C2. I don't drink any soft drink and neither do my sons.
