I have been a member of a gym.. but I was really lazy and stopped going. I have been seeing a lot of difference in my shape from riding my stationary bike.

I would be, in Antibes. It's just that the Versace Gym (what a name, eh ?) is next door to an undertakers'.
Somehow I find the juxtaposition a little unnerving
Just to complete the integration of businesses in the street, the car crash repair business is right opposite, full of the wrecks of speeding vehicles...
I am a member of the Y, and the exercise helps me tremendously. It makes me feel better and look better. Each year, I re-register my membership, and have no intention of stopping.

working out is fundemental to me...it's a drug..i don't feel right if i go long without working out.
do i always feel like working out? no or better said..HELL NO. but once it gets incorporated into your lifestyle it gets easier.
i can see how a novice or a female could get intimadated in a gym. find your nitch, be it weights, treadmill, aerobics...and take care of yourself...don't watch anyone because, sorry to break it to you, NOBODY'S payin' attention to you. just remember the gym edicate...ie: get out of the way when you're not working out and compliment me on how good i look in my speedos.
