I have a realy hard time staying motivated, b/c in the middle of my diet i just feel hopeless and then i give up. I am a vegetarian so I don't intake a lot of fat to begin with. I do situps everynight and I drink alot of water. Any suggestions on what I can do that dosen't involve alot of exercise. I am open for any suggestions. Also cellulite runs in my family and I need to get rid of that too. Help!!!
So your a vegetarian, what's to say you are not eating an extensive amount of vegetable fats?
Fat is fat, period.
What constitutes fats? Oils, animal fats (Lard, butter, all dairy products) Soys beans, all nuts and seeds are high in fat, eggs. Advocatos, high in fats.
If you are cooking with oil, you are adding fat to your diet. If you are using salad dressing, I am willing to bet you are adding fat to your diet.
Eat bread? Added fat.
Now, let us look at the added sugars.
Eat any canned vegetables? Look at a label of corn, sugar added for flavor. Any baked goods you purchase have sugars added and oils/fats too.
Cold Cereals - added fat and sugar - even the non-frosted variety like Rice Crispies, Grape nuts, all have sugar and fat added to them.
I bet if we really looked at your diet you would blush from all the hidden fats and sugars that are in your diet.
Hey, it isn't your fault, it is the food processors who want to get more money out of less food, so they add fat and sugars which means they are adding calories so they can convince us all that 5 chips are really a serving, or that one can serve a party of 6 from one can of corn.
I hate to break it to you, but unless you are growing and canning your own food, you are getting added fats and sugars.
Do you do dairy products (Milk, butter, eggs, cheese)? Unless the packaging says it is fat-free or low-fat, you are getting alot of fat added to your diet - empty calories.
Nuts, Peanuts, Seeds, chocked full of fat naturally - this is where our oils come from mainly.
Now then you confess that your family is prone to cellulite - Child if mama is fat, daddy is fat, they are going to have fat children. Not their fault, just the luck of the gene pool.
Yes, there are many who are predestined to have a layer of fat. You may be one.
Before entering into the idea of taking on a diet (A vegetarian is on a diet, a very restricted diet compared to meat eaters) I stongly urge you to see your doctor first, have him/her determine if you need to lose weight, or if you need to change your diet.
There are no easy exercise programs. Exercise is work which burns calories and builds up the muscle mass, it's going to make you sweat. Sorry, there are no magic pills, no work free exercise plans, no miracle plans out there.
What you need to do is have that self perspective checked out. You may very well be suffering from a form of depression/anxiety which could be adding a lot of unneeded burden on you.
See a doctor, spill your heart out to him/her - tell them what you tell us.
I am certain the solution you seek is not a diet.
Cheers
