Is it possible that it's harder to be flexible once you stop growing? I've noticed that, even though we stretch everyday before practice, I'm NOT near as flexible as i used to be. Do I just need to stretch even more? Because I'd like to be more flexible, b/c I'm not really flexible at all. It would help a lot with preventing injuries and such. Any thoughts? Wink

First of all, children ARE more flexible, for whatever reason.

Adults HAVE to work harder to do the same things and that increases with age.

Try Yoga!

It's great for flexibility and feels great too. I am very inflexible and it's helped tons.

I have used this DVD and like it

Try getting into a routine with your stretches...not just when you warm-up, but right when you wake up and before you go to bed. Plan out how long you want to stretch then spend time stretching every muscle in turn. Once you have done this for long enough you will be able to increase the pull on the muscle or the length of time you hold the position. Try one of these websites....

Stretch with an excersize ball
