I am not sure where you are talking about.. do you mean where your great toe attaches to your foot? Most of the time toes do not get casts.. I've had several broken toes and I have not had casts. Splints may be used which are less permanent and can be removed and replaced. But even splints are not that often applied to the toes. If you are concerned, speak to your physician, x-rays may be in order to help determine the type of treatment required.

i got an exray already.. and its not the toe bone... its the bone on my foot, but at the tip of it... i wanted to know before,hand, fora compression fracture do yoyu get a cast?

Some metatarsal fracture require casting, some don't. You really can't get a good answer from online: it takes seeing the xray, knowing more about the situation. Wait til you see the orthopedist: l' chiam.
