I have just lost a little weight, am looking forward to losing more, and want to find some exercises to help speed up toning in my midruff area and on the side of stomach - where ppl who are built ideally seem to have the V type build.
Are there any exercises - that wont be too killer on the arms as I do have chronic shoulder problems so have to be careful - cannot move arm repetitively beyond stretched out at shoulder level? For me the easiest position for arm to be in is where upper half is in down position - I do have thoracic outlet which if I aggravate it becomes completely disabling - so I realize I will need to do it in baby type steps. The "v" shape you refer to is the Latissimus dorsi, You achive this shape through Pulldowns on a lat machine, chin ups, dead lifts, and,always important to toning, a good diet.
