I think a darker beige would wear really well in a kids room... about the color of what soil would be. You could get creative and put a black block of color in the center of the floor and make the rest beige. As for the walls, the colors wound cool. You could have someone paint the team logo on one of the lighter walls, that sort of thing. Let us know how it turns out whatever you decide... okay?

I don't think I'd introduce another color into this scheme... I'd say take the beige color on the wall and go a couple tones darker for the carpet. You don't want light colored carpet in a boy's room. Don't the Astros have yellow and orange too? I think I'd forget making the carpet go with the theme. Definitely don't buy carpet in orange, black, yellow or red

aminator2002, The colors for he Astros have changed several times in the past few years. Orange and Yellow were the colors in the early 80's. In the 90's they were blue and gold and in 2000 they changed to the brick red, beige and black. I hope they don't change again any time soon, that would suck Anyway thanks for the input but I have decided to go with a slighly lighter beige than the walls. True it is for a boys room, but I don't allow any food/drinks or markers/paint in there and shoes are removed as they enter the house, so hopefully this will be ok. Thanks to all who replied.
