twinhearts Silver Enthusiast	Posted I'm not sure if this is the right category but I couldn't find anything on tools. My husband has a Makita cordless drill and he wants to know how to remove the drill chuck. Can anyone help him with this? He thinks he might know but wants to be sure before he messes with it. Thanks!

sae501	Posted Hide Post Most chucks come off the same way. Open it fully and look down inside, you should see a screw. Just remove it and the chuck will come off. If I recall the screw is a left handed thread. Good luck.
