I have to move a combination washer/dryer to repair the dryer vent in the back. It is in a small closet and much too heavy to move by myself. I thought maybe there might be something I could rent to help me move it. Anyone know of anything? I just have to move it a couple of feet. Thanks big grin

Whether they rent it, I don't know but you can check.

I have used this thin, plastic device that you slide under appliances, hook to the blow side of a vacuum. The device fills with air and floats like a hover craft.

Next would be an appliance dolly. I don't think I need to tell you how they work.

Hope this helps.

If you have a moving store (like a Budget-Ryder or Uhaul) nearby, you can rent a dolly for a few hours for a reasonable amount of money.
