Are there any knockoffs on the Little Giant ladders?
I want to get my Dad a new stepladder for Xmas, because the one he has is barely stable. (It was free, he pulled it out of a military dumpster brand-new).
My problem is, I don't have 3-400 bucks to spend on a ladder. I want a ladder than converts into a real ladder, and has those few joints to bend it around.
Any ideas?

Be careful of those "Knockoff" ladders. I have seen them at home improvement stores and I am not sure I would trust them. I am not even sure that I would trust the Little Giant ladder even though they look pretty good in the ads.
