In about two weeks I will be painting my dining room, and on the back wall I wanted to create a picture for the Roman times to cover that whole wall I'd love to use a stencil rather than wall paper any thoughts on where I might look to find such a stencil? Beth

Do you mean "Roman Times" as in ancient Rome and Julius Caesar, etc?

And you really can't easily create a stencil that covers a WHOLE WALL. Why not just paint a Roman picture?

I think I need a LITTLE more information about what you are TALKING ABOUT! I have an art degree, so I might be able to help with a few more specifics!

Yes, its the same Roman times as you are thinking, I have seen an entire wall done out of stencil at a house that I was once considering buying before we bought this house, but I'm not sure on where I should be looking. It would be nice to just paint a scene on myself but I am a terrible at drawing. Hey here's a thought why don't you come on over and help me you can draw and I will paint I'll even make dinner what do ya say? Beth

Beth, I'd be delighted to help you paint your Mural... do you think I could have a couple nights stay and a few more meals? (This project would take more than a few hours! )

Well, I finally finished painting the dining room a couple weeks ago its done in a golden wheat color, it took so long because I could not decided on a color that I liked, all my trim and door ways are done in maple wood so it was hard to find something other than white that I like. As for the mural I have put that on hold until after the holidays, hopefully by then I will have more energy to tackle that project. Thanks for asking Clarebear.
