Anyone know how to tighten up the hinges on a, slightly, sagging refrigerator door? There's a gap at the top, right side of the door that keeps it from sealing properly.
Thanks!

You don't say whether the hinges are on the right side of the door. Assuming that is the case it sounds as if the bottom hinge may be loose, The bottom hinge usually supports the weight of the door and if the screws holding either half (door or refrigerator mounted) are loose, that would cause the door to sag. To tighten the screws holding the hinges you would probably need to remove the top hinge and lift the door off the bottom hinge. Then tighten all of the hinge screws. Check the top hinge also to see if it is adjustable on the horizontal plane.
My roommate and I tried your suggestion and it "un-sagged" the refrigerator door, somewhat. We both feel that the door/hinge may be slightly "bent" and that's why we couldn't tighten it up completely; it's much better, now, after your excellent instructions.
Thanks again, frankvan.
