This forum has been incredibly useful to me in the past but this is my first post here! My husband and I are trying to finish our small cabin, and don't have enough room for a standard sized bath tub. I have searched quite a bit, but have not had much luck. Can anyone give us names of manufacturers that make smaller sized tubs? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
What are the dimensions of the space where the tub will be? It's possible that a "slipper tub" or a corner tub might fit your needs, but it would be very helpful to know what space we're looking at.

I don't know the names of any manufacturers, but have you checked with camper supply companies? I know the bathtub in our camper is much smaller than one you'd find in a home.

What about those "baths with doors" that are advertised on TV in the UK ? example Here are my search results for Walk in Baths and Alter the search words to Short bath tub and I'm sure millions more will appear
TIP Switch the search to Google Shopping (by clicking the Link and You'll get a good Idea of the Price (Can arrange it so it goes from "low to high"

WOW The link I gave has no Walk in tubs which are priced far too high And Going to Need a Sealant gun and a constant Supply of rubber seal strips to keep it watertight! They sell quite a range of odd sizes/Shapes at Proper prices and do have a Sale range So the Person who asked the Question is Not going to get Fleeced.

..off topic a little, gabriel_mark, but I'm just curious as to why someone from Britain uses the terms "tub" to refer to a bath and "cabin" to refer to a second home. I know one of the Brits will correct me if I'm wrong, but so far as I'm aware, neither term is common in the UK.
However, perhaps, you are an American living in the UK, or are just familiar with the use of language here? Hmmm....
Can you imagine sitting there waiting for the tub to fill? What if the started to leak?
Or worse, sitting there waiting for it to drain before you can get out?

Manufacturers only make things that they can sell. If they made a 58" tub they might only sell one, and that would be to your. If you cannot use a 60" tub, the next smaller commercial one is 54". Anything between the two measurements would have to be plastic and made locally. After this you can try Walk in Bathtubs[

Andrew, why didn't you just tell Gabriel about the tubs over breakfast rather than use my web site to shill a product? For that matter, what kind of product needs to use deceptive ads? A few people realized this was an ad before I did and there are also some fine answers to what some thought was an honest question, so I am leaving this thread up. But it wasn't an honest question, was it, Andrew? Are the tubs manufactured with the same set of principles as well? Is the warranty just as honest as you were when you posted as one person and answered as another. (I do hope that the tubs were designed by someone more clever than you, since you left clues all over the place that this was an ad.) But you are going to get you way. Your product will get its name mentioned, and people looking for small tubs will find this thread and see that name. However, it won't be quite what you planned.

No, dg, and everyone else (including the original poster ) we never use the word 'tub' for 'a bath'. We soak in the bath, not the tub. We order a new bath, not a new tub and we don't say 'shill' (but I'm prepared to make an exception in this case)
Anyway, just think of the cost of shipping a 59 inch (whatever that is: we use centimetres) bath from the US to Britain

But a bath in a Cabin? Where in the Uk do you find everyday cabins? Not on the Street Off street?Ah, Yes I can think of 3 types 1) a Signalmans Cabin?No? A site cabin?or this?(it what is termed a Bathroom over the Pond) and we'd call it a cabin 1 More and they are very desirable cabins are these. My money says if they wanted to renovate a cabin(anywhere in the UK) these will be on top of the list
