We've refinished an old (50 years +) wooden desk and want to replace the solid brass drawer pulls, but they are 4" centers - we don't really want a modern look, but not too antique-y of a look either, just a nice, tasteful metal handle. Can you give us some direction?

Try one of the big hardware stores near you, like Home Depot or HQ. They should have a wide selection of handles; there may be one that you like.

Hope your desk comes out nice!

Do you have a "Restoration Hardware" store near you? They have a huge selection of unique handles and pulls. I just finished a similar project and was really disappointed with what I found at Lowes and Home Depot. I found just what I was looking for at R.H. Good luck!

Here is another chioce. The Woodworkers Supply Store. If you can't find something there, they don't make it anymore.

Open the page and look down the column on the left until you see:

Click in there.
