Why do violinists traditionally use the left hand for the task of fingering, which is complex, and the right for bowing, which is simple, when most are right-handed and the opposite way would seem much easier ?

i play the violin, and found it took little time to learn to hold the bow in my right hand. It really wasn't that difficult.
the hard part was when it came to playing pizzicato, thats when you pluck the string with your fingers.
