My brother bought a guitar knowing that he was going to be stuck at home for 8 weeks recovering from an operation. Are there any web sites with good instructions on teaching yourself how to play guitar ? He can read music, he played marimba way back in high school. Thanks !

Am probably too late, but my friends uses How to Play Guitar for Dummies (at your local bookstore) and she says its great.
