My son was given an organ, he doesn't know a thing about playing, can't read music. I'm looking for a web site that has music on how to play, real easy site i need, maybe something that goes by the numbers on the organ. Thanks
Your best bet would be to contact your local music stores and ask if they know of a teacher. If you have no luck there try your local churches. There are many organists who play for church services, weddings and funerals. If that doesn't work, your next best bet would be to try a good local piano teacher who could teach your boy the basic fundamentals of music and the keyboard. You may also try the internet sites of "Ask Jeeves" and "Google",just type in the words Organ or Organ Music and see what comes up.I play Guitar and have been able to download a ton of stuff off the internet,Good Luck!!!
CB, If you want to stick to computers, then I remember seeing a Windows Software which taught how to play an organ with some keys of the ComputerKeyBoard immitating the Piano key-board. You may check out a Computer assistant aware of any such software. However, as hippolips suggested, your best bet would be to hire a personnal music teacher who can guide your sons piano lessons and monitor his progress.
Although, for some reason if you want to stick to computer teaching, try posting this Question in the "website" link. Happy Surfing!;) Pin~Jinx
