So, I have decided I want to learn to play acoustic guitar. Nothing fancy, but it seems like quite a challenge, especially to my piano trained brain.

I would like to try self learning, rather than lessons, and have done that with other instruments in the past.

Can anyone recommend a good instruction series or website?

I used a book and cassette by Hal Leonard when I learned, and even though I have zero talent and my hands are stupid, even I managed to make something that sounded like a song, so it must be pretty good.

I couldn't find the one I used (it was like 10 years ago) but here are some of his books.
