If you are as you say only a beginner and want something that looks and sounds good but has 2 secrets, it does not cost the earth and B)you can plug it into your PC via a USB cable
The guitar is a BEHRINGER iAXE .Behringer are a Big German maker of Musical Instrunents and Electronics and Market workwide www.behringer.com/?lang=ENG click Products to see the "small" collection that is on offer

OK costs...Well it is on a par with what is on offer in the current Argos UK catalogue But they are "The same" every year In fact I can find no review on those
But these Behringer iAXE Models we found plenty of dealers Plus... Turn your sound on...
All these demo clips on Youtube and Google Video (for starters) Shows how they are set up too and the behringer.com website has all the drivers and updates you want including Mixers (for free)

And yes, I see some of the Players are not so good Frown
But apart from that, what do you think of the instrument?
More here All Behringers including the iAXE.
Enjoy

I Did see another Brand which was on an adjoining YouTube Video whose had branded theirs as a "Jam USB Guitar" quality of the finished product looked inferior to the Beringer
Sounded OK though.
We have several Guitar playing and Band members on the Forum whose advice is Very good
May take a day or 2 before you get a reply due to time zone differences

I clean forgot! Welcome to the Pool Smile

NOTE The Dealer Link on the main Behringer site is Not working when I tested it
But on the UK site its fine link TIP Type nearest Big City (does not like towns) There is a "Show all dealers" link below the search box if you can't be bothered, and its a Long list! Smile
