Hmn.....
My Personall Opinion?

I am basically a music-lover and
love every single beat created EVER.
Though, having to make a chioce,
it would definitely be Acoustic Guitar.
Y'see, I find elctric guitar groovy aswelll... but it is TOO synthesised.
I mean, conventionally music is much about melody and acoustic guitar can be used to produce softer notes.

Regardless of what type of music you wish to play, it would probably be best to learn on an electric.<p>This is contrary to what I, and many others used to think, but the reason is that the strings are generally closer to the fret board and easier to press and hold down. I just started to learn (on an acoustic) a little over a year ago. After a few weeks of relentless practicing my finger tips became very sore. I couldn't play anything on my acoustic but I picked up my neighbors electric and I couldn't believe the difference. I'm still learning on my acoustic but if I could start over..........
