Hi everyone,

I'm new here and I was just wondering if anyone could recommend some music to practice to. I've been trying to explore different material because I feel it helps me become more creative. Recently I've been practicing to an album titled the Deviations Project. I found it in Barnes and Noble and it has pieces like Swan Lake and Carmen, but redone with electronic production. Incredible violinist on the album as well... Anyway, anyone have any recomendations of unique or unsusual music to practice to? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Since you're using the Deviations Project, I assume you play the violin?

If you play any string instrument and want something unique or unusual, I'd recommend the string quartet tribute albums. They can be pretty good. If you'd like a suggestion to start off with, try either of the two Tool tributes. Search for your favorite band, there could very likely a tribute album for them.
