All things being equal, which is the easiest orchestral musical instrument to learn to play?

Probably the cymbals. However, it is no easy task to become a virtuoso percussionist playing a wide variety of percussion instruments well.

Of the remaining instruments, my understanding is that the flute is relatively easy to learn.
