Does anybody know what type of musical instruments they had and were using in about the years around 1000AD?

Of course it might help if your q was geographically specific to a certain region during that time, but more or less, people used the same musical instruments we have and still use today. With the exception for electronic instruments, of course (being there was no electricity. smile

Those instruments look really similar to the ones we have now, ex. oboe, basoon, clarinet, flute. How interesting!
