Hey, I am going to start taking piano lessons but I want to get a electronic keyboard so I can practice. I am not sure what I need to be looking for. From what I have read, I want a 88 key, weighted keys, and have about the same size keys. Can anyone give any kind of recommendations? I know it is a vague question since there are so many variations. What is the best I can get for the money.

OK. In my opinion, the best alternative to a real piano is
1) always a compromise (!) and
2) The Yamaha Clavinova.

There are a number of models of Clavinova, and prices vary considerably. Certainly here in the UK second hand ones can be bought for a song, and they perform perfectly.

Your stated requirements are quite correct, by the way. Weighted keys are a MUST for serious pianists (and also not-so serious pianists). You need 88 notes, not all the time, but why settle for a smaller keyboard when, from time to time, it will spoil the effect when certain notes are impossible otherwise to achieve? Full sized keys are also essential.

The Clavinova has a fairly authentic sound, headphones can be used to spare others who may not want to hear the music, has a lovely action to play on, is discreet in appearance, sparing in the amount of room it requires, and has the backing of one of the most reliable electrical giant companies in the world.

Whilst nothing equals a real piano, if an electric one is needed, look no further.
