I HAVE JUST BEEN LEFT BY MY HUSBAND OF 10 YEARS I DO BELIEVE HE HAS HAD A NERVOUS BREAK-DOWN...IF I HAD TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN.. WELL I WOULD STILL MARRY HIM AND HAVE TWO BEAUTIFUL GIRLS.. WOULD I GO TO COLLEGE YES .. WOULD I HAVE TAKEN THE CHANCE TO BE A SINGER.. YES! AM I GOING TO TAKE HIM BACK? YES! DO I WANT TO GO TO COLLEGE YES.. BUT I AM AFFRAID OF LEAVING MY GIRLS WITH JUST ANYONE.. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO EVEN FINDS LOAN/GRANT PAPERS MUCH LESS FILL THEM OUT.. DO I WANT TO BE HAPPY YES.. IF I COULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN.. I WOULD DO IT WITH HAPPINESS AND SELF WORTH AND CONFIDENCE AND ESTEEM OF WHICH I HAVE LOSSED .. I REALLY FEEL LOST..

Navy Brats, maybe you are so upset because it's still so new. It's okay to be upset when you've been hurt by someone, it's okay to cry, it's okay to feel lost, but just because you are hurt that doesn't mean that you should be so eager to take him back. You've got to think long and hard behind the reasoning why he left, just to see is it worth taking him back. Ask yourself if you'd rather be unhappy with him or unhappy without him, and go from there. Has he tried to get back with you Yet?

Going to school is a good goal for anyone really. But most especially, women who have depended on their husbands for years as a sole provider. School allows people to have choices and options when things go wrong or badly.

Some schools have daycares, and there also exists some programs locally, state and federal to help with childcare.

Also, Federal Grants and loans are availabe to almost anyone who applies. Many people refuse the loans as they don't want to pay them back, but my husband, Sagus, and I have both gone to school (Sagus is currently going) and we took out loans and grants. We felt the debt was worth the end result.

Hey Navy Brats......sorry to hear that you are going through this hard time. I know what it is like......been thru it myself twice. The first time we had gotten married very young and was married for 10 years. I think we just out grew each other. The second time was after 5 years and it was a total nightmare........he did alot of things......including kidnapping my son who was only 2 at the time. I think it is great that you are wanting to go back to school. As far as the paperwork/loans you can go to the school and they have people there who can go over all of the loan and grant info with you and even help with filling them out. I have to agree with what honilov said....you need to think long and hard before you just take him back. Make sure that you are doing it for the right reasons and not just because you're scared.I wish you the best of luck and if you ever need to talk just email me or IM me.
