I have a friend that has asked me to write a letter of recommendation for her so that she can get a scholarship for school, does anyone have any tips on how to compose one??? Thanks!

Those will probably be helpful, but very generic. If she's going to college, the Scholarship Committee will want to know

1. If she's college-material (whatever that means)

2. Will she be able to stick the course? What is her record for persistence/endurance?

3. What use will she make of her education after graduation - in other words, will we have wasted our money or not?
