A Spanish proverb says provisión es profusión. The idea is that a well-stocked pantry is abundance. I suppose the idea could be applied to other things but that is the application I am interested in.
What is the equivalent proverb in English?

Thanks, everyone. Those are great quotes and I will keep them in mind for some other occasion. They are not quite right for the idea I need to express although Elexina's was close. I think I will go with the nursery rhyme "Old Mother Hubbard" as an antithesis to make the point.
