Mona Bone Jakon ... Does anyone know the significance of these words, which formed the title of an album by Cat Stevens in 1970? (I should perhaps have posted this under 'Music', 'Oldies', but 'Words and Language' won my vote!)

The title has always been bit of an enigma,the album was originally going to be called "The Dustbin Cried The Day The Dustman Died" but Stevens decided to change it to "Mona Bone Jakon" which was apparently his pet name for his (cough,cough) erm... you know what ! Viv.
