Some of us might benefit from 100 frequently misspelled words.

Very interesting Frank. The words I knew, I could spell, but there were a few that I'd never heard of before.

I have a hard time believing that bellwether is used often enough to be on the most misspelled list.

I don't think I've seen it used.

It's hilarious! I've spelled "vacuum" --- VACCUME for YEARS and YEARS up until about a few month ago.

Most are easily spelled... but some, I can see where they can be a bit difficult - as in the omission of the "e" before adding an "ly"... etc. For some, there are no rhyme nor reason - you merely have to brand them into your mind! OUCH!

Class starts when you hear the bellwhether you are in your seat or not.

Tree, I just thought that was the Canadian spelling.

A couple that are used very often and misspelled more often than not lately are: 'loose' or 'loosing' for 'lose' or 'losing'; also 'idealogy' for 'ideology'.

ideology.... damn, can't believe I did that.

I have to chuckle at myself though because I read frank's post and said, "oh man, he got me!"
