Is there a website that lists metaphors by subject? If not, can someone give me a metaphor for anything about school (can also be tests, teachers, friends, trips, etc. etc.).

In my own high school experience, my teachers were simians, their tests were crapshoots, my friends were mostly bad news, and the trips, such as they were, were mere meanders.
Beware of looking for lists of metaphors on a website. As soon as any metaphor gets listed, in fact, it is probably already a dead one. The best thing to do with metaphor is to make up your own.
