This is for the cold climate people. Anyone aware of a word for the snow and sand which gets thrown up against the front wheel wells and freezes there?

Slush is generally wet. I was thinking of when it freezes and hangs from the mud flap like a stalagtite.

Me and my friends call anything trapped here Crud!
Wonder what the Scandanavian or Inuit word is for Slush ? They live/deal with it more than us..
Perhaps that may be an apt choice of word?

In Michigan we call that frozen slush.

It is sort of like a slurpee at 7-11 stuck underneath your tires LOL

Is there a word for such adhesive slush in an Inuit language ?
Well, here is some Yup'ik Eskimo , spoken in Central Alaska and taken from

www.princeton.edu/~browning/snow.html

concerning snow:

nevluk : clinging debris

nevlugte: have clinging debris...'lint/snow/dirt'
