Hi,
I find myself needing the ASCII codes for Spanish on a laptop. I know how to use them on a desktop with a key pad.
How do you do it on a laptop.
Any web sites?

The only time I use a laptop is when I'm at my sister's, but the same alt + number codes work for me.

You can also change the keyboard "Language" over on the Keyboard Bar easily
There is a snag. Unless you have the Spanish Language Layout Keyboard You will find it Difficult to find out where the "extended characters" are
The Best way to circumnavigate the Issue is to Jot down the Keys which are Needed
So working On a Standard UK English K/board
Shift + 1=!
Shift + 2="
ect,
On the US layout (which is the Default)Which I use , more convienient
It goes...
Shift + 1=!
then Shift + 1= @

Now the really big Problem there is a Choice of 3 different Latin American Keyboards Plus Had to count twice 18 Spanish Language variants!!! 3 if you cut it down to North America

Hi juanruiz, bedstore, got it figured out.
I didn't know laptops have extra letters/numbers on the side of the keys.
Also on some makes you have to press a function key.

I was going to resort to a two part letter.
Like ~n and leave it to the reader to figure out. But I got it now.
