I am doing a family history picture CD for my kids and relatives and I am looking for a quote to start with.
"Thus spake Zarathustra John" has class.(You can't get classier than Nietzsche.)
"Come and listen to a story 'bout a man named Jed" has, well not class, but a jingle I can insert.
"Listen children, hear me speak" is a quote from what??? Does anyone know?
Any other ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Your selections are beautiful. I checked out the whole proverbs section, no exact match but that was probably the inspiration for a lot of people.
Actually I think it is from Kahlil Gibran's Prophet or the Prophet's Garden except I can't find it.
