I came across several references to Hmong which is an Asian Language But In all the sites I visited it does not say specifically where it orginates? Is this an artificial language like Esparanto Roll Eyes
Or is a Patois like Creole or Pidgen English ?Roll Eyes

The Hmong Language gives a lot of details (including alphabet characters) about this tongue, which in China, is known as "Miao."
Transcend and Hmong Cultural Center discuss the Hmong people and their language.
Hope this helps. Smile

If you add language and/or origin to your search, you will get more relevant links to what you want. It is a traditional language of a people that originated in Asia (where exactly is a matter of debate, but they have been a nomadic people for millennia) but are now spread throughout much of the world (due in part to persecution due to their support of western powers against communism in Asia). The language did not have a written form until the last century. In some countries, it is now written in the country's alphabet. In others it is written in modified versions.
