There is an excellent free graphics program that you can download that will make a screen saver program file. It is called "IrfanView" and can be downloaded from

Download Tutorial here) click the File menu, then the "Slide Show" command.
From there, open the save location of the pictures you want to use in your Screen Saver. When you have added all the pictures you want, click the "Save as EXE/SCR file" button. Choose the "SCR" (Screen Saver) option. Type in the save location:
C:\Windows
Then type in a file name: (like "screensaver").
Then click the "Create" button. You will see a "Success" dialog window.
Then open your "Display Properties" window to the Screen Saver tab. Scroll through the list to "screensaver" (or whatever filename you gave yours) and select it.
To add new pictures, just repeat the process. Give you new creation the same filename and allow it to overwrite the old file.
To Open Display PropertiesRight click on an unused area of the Desktop. Select "Properties". In the "Display Properties window, select the "Screen Saver" tab.
