I have a few pictures that I have taken with my digital camera and woud like to know how do I incorporate them to make a screen saver and can I just add on as I take more pictures. Is it easy or hard to do this

I use Windows ME, and in the screensaver menu there is the option to use "my pictures screen-saver" this uses your own pictures saved in your My pictures folder. I would imagine that most other operating systems are the same.

There is an excellent free graphics program that you can download that will make a screen saver program file. It is called "IrfanView" and can be downloaded from http://www.irfanview.com

When you have downloaded and installed the IrfanView program (Download Tutorial here) click the File menu, then the "Slide Show" command.

From there, open the save location of the pictures you want to use in your Screen Saver. When you have added all the pictures you want, click the "Save as EXE/SCR file" button. Choose the "SCR" (Screen Saver) option. Type in the save location:
C:\Windows
Then type in a file name: (like "screensaver").

Then click the "Create" button. You will see a "Success" dialog window.

Then open your "Display Properties" window to the Screen Saver tab. Scroll through the list to "screensaver" (or whatever filename you gave yours) and select it.

To add new pictures, just repeat the process. Give you new creation the same filename and allow it to overwrite the old file.

To Open Display Properties
Right click on an unused area of the Desktop. Select "Properties". In the "Display Properties window, select the "Screen Saver" tab.
