I've got WinXP Pro and I want to use different start, shutdown and wait screens (ones included in desktop themes I've installed) but don't want to lose the default ones.
I can't seem to find any information on where (or what they're called - don't see any logo.sys, logos.sys or logow.sys files) they're located. I know they are .sys files, but there are hundreds of them - The default locations should be C:/WINDOWS, C:/WINDOWS/System32 or C:/WINDOWS/System/Resources
Anyone familiar enough with WinXP to help? Hope so!
Thanks!

Could you please tell me why you want me to click on the link you posted. What is it and why do you want me to go there? It doesn't seem to be an answer to my question, but thanks anyway.
Additonal information: I have BootXP and another logo manager but they don't help me locate my default logo, logos and logow screens.

U said U needed different Start, Shutdown, and Wait screens!
The provided link mentions a program called Changer XP which does just that! As it says:
Changer XP is an integrated tool to personalize the IE Skin, the logon screen, the desktop wallpaper, the Screen Saver as well as the boot screen of Windows 9x/Me/2000/XP all in one
So that changes all the screens U want including the logg-on screen!

When I got to the link you posted, I realized that they weren't instructions for WinXP...I went to my address bar and removed everything after the ".com" and got to the home page. I found what I was looking for that way.
