Last night, the image on my monitor took a 90 degree counterclockwise turn, stayed there for about 30 seconds or so, then took another 90 degree counterclockwise turn, where it remains today. I'm assuming that I accidentally hit an unfortunate combination on the keyboard, but I'm unaware of doing so. I'd really like to have things set right, although turning the monitor itself upsidedown is not the worst thing I've had to live with.

Windows XP
Latest Version of Mozilla Firefox

Don't know which "windows" you're using but just try to press ctrl+ alt+ up or down arrow on the right as a quick test.

Mike, I was (and am) in Firefox. I have no idea how to find my graphics card. A search for that term and those names turns up nothing.

Tres bien, mon frere! Merci! Back to normal! (Or what passes for normal in my life.)

Ctl Alt Up was the operative method.

Bedstor, thank you, too. I'd still like to know how to find my graphics card.

DG? If you have CCleaner installed at the Top of the Page (Title bar) It tells you A) the Processor on the Machine B) The RAM Installed and Lastly the Graphic card Details

This is exactly what it says on this Computer (is not copyable Frown) Yours will say something similar to this script:
quote:

CCleaner.com v3.15.1643(64-bit)
MS Windows 7 64-bit SP1
AMD Phenom 9950 Quad-Core Processor,4.0GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series

PS The Cursor Key "Orientation" trick does not work either on my 32 bit XP machine or this 64 bit machine so I have to go into the Control Panel to "Turn the Screen" though it says in the "Help"(on this Machine) that IE 9.0 May be able to do something ...But thats only for Vista 64 bit machines or Higher spec

On Windows 7 :
Right click on desktop select Properties >> Settings >> Advanced >> Adapter and you will see what type of graphics card the computer has.
