Downloaded this program , but cannot run it because an error message says I need a 3D Graphics card...
Well, went to search and found Graphics Cards, but the selection was a little mind bogling to me...
Can anyone tell me what to use....

Can you tell us what type of Program it is
There is a small chance your DirectX files need updating to get around this message?
If you can get into System information you can retrieve this Information
Perhaps an easier way is to download and run the Belarc advisor scanner but Scrub that! it does not show the DirectX version nor a full spec of the Graphic card
Try pasting this into the Start >Run Box C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo and hit "OK" This will work with Windows XP
Not certain on other versions of Windows (somebody advise!)
If it does open a Window then click on the File with the Blue "I" this will open the System Information panel
If you can get as far as here repost and We'll tell you what to do next
Or.... we'll skip this and do an update of your DirectX driver (Need your version of Windows to determine which driver is needed? thanks)

I did finally get a 3d graphics card, but still no program... The problem seems to be on keyholes end, so I contacted them... We;ll see...

I have a high spec card and should be setting it to the lower setting but my monitor dislikes anything above 1024x768 which makes very little difference Hence if I have to set up manually that is my "Hi Resolution" setting
But you are going to be stuck if all your card can produce is 800x600 Max that means your card is outdated by maybe 3 years? (works Ok with most stuff but some pages may be shown as text and the "red boxes"?
