You can see some examples at a-i-studio's Snowflake page. The thumbnails I made, of the ones I created, didn't do the originals any justice; it's better to go have a look-see for yourself.
The site has some more information, but it's a little sketchy and you'll just have to play around with the program. It's pretty simple, so you shouldn't have much trouble. There is a random button, a color selector, and a number of parameter tweaks to make an almost unlimited number of different snowflakes.
I haven't seen any tutorials, but emailed them to ask. I'll post back if I get any.
