Next year I will be taking photos of my 50th high school reunion and putting them on a CD with music.. I have learned to do that (really easy) but the CD's I make can only be view if one has Windows Media Player..
Can I make a CD that will play on any computer by just inserting it in that will show contents like a CD that would download a program???
Or will everyone have to have the Windows Media player installed...

im not sure i understand your ? but here it goes. you should be able to see the contents of the cd in any computer provided they are of the same (fat or ntfs ) system. i record my pics on cd and can veiw them on my other computers and on my dvd player with the tv.but my other computers are of the ntfs system and the one computer is of fat system and can not open the files.
