When working on a Corel project, our computer at work keeps crashing, for some odd reason. Is there a way to save your work automatically, say, every minute or so?

Thank you. Smile

Howdy:

Depending on what version (I am running 10 here) try this.. (you may have to adjust this setting per program - WordPerfect, Quattro, etc)

Start program.. go to Tools>Settings Click on "Files".. Option for timed backups is right there..

Hi Murray!

I believe that we have version 9 at work. Thanks SOOO much for your info! I'll try that on Monday!

Hmmm I have WordPerfect 10 (at home) - I'll go there and check it all out for now.

Thanks again!

Smile PS: I just checked mine and you're right on the money!

You might want to try un-installing, then re-installing the Corel program to correct whatever error is causing the computer to crash. This can be somewhat time consuming, but I've had success with correcting this problem in my CorelDraw 8 program.

Thanks Dwight! Smile That actually was our plan to uninstall and reinstall, but we needed a quick fix from now until then.

You guys are the best! Thank you, again!

Oooops OK, now here's a question...... If we reinstall corel, do we uninstall and reinstall or can we just install over top of the existing one? Will we lose any corel files during the process of uninstalling?

Confused

You would be better off to uninstall it first, then reinstall it. You will not lose any data files, since they are stored in a separate folder.
