Hi. I have a great favor to ask everyone. My grandma was admitted to the hospital today. She is diabetic and her sugar level dropped to 29. I'm not sure what it is supposed to be but they said if it had dropped lower she could have went into a diabetic coma. Now that she is in the hospital they still can't get it to stabilize. To top it all off, she also has cancer. She has recently undergone chemo and radiation.
To make a long story short, She isn't doing well at all. I was hoping that the people here in the pool could send some warm thoughts and prayers her way.
I thank every very much.

Of course your grandmother has my prayers!
And so do you, since I know this is a very stressful time for you.
Let us know how it goes for her.

And I'm here anytime you need to talk.

Godspeed! --Mitzi

Thank you everyone!
They have moved her to a larger hospital this morning. They still can't get her blood sugar level to stabilize. They get it up and an hour later it falls again. She has smoked all her life and now has emphasima (not sure on spelling) This is making it really hard for her to breathe. She has been on oxygen for two years now. Since all this has happened, she said it is even harder to catch her breath. It's so hard to see her like this. I hope something more can be done in this new hospital. I will let her know about all the wonderful people here in the pool when I see her this afternoon.
Thank you again everyone!!

All the prayer flags are out for your Grandma, twinsey. Diabetes is a terrible disease, and so is cancer, but remember, to the Lord all things are possible, and "...ask, and ye shall be given."

Just a quick update.
Grandma was put on life support Saturday. They took her off on Sunday and I guess we just wait for nature to take it's course. Her cancer has spread into her lungs and is so bad that there isn't much hope. She knew this back in July but withheld the info from the family.
She is able to talk now so that makes it easier for everyone. We have just been telling her we love her and making sure she isn't left alone.
I want to thank everyone again for their thoughts and prayers.
