After 20 years, a coworker is more than someone you work with. They are like your own family. I wish your friend a speedy recovery. It always is a tough time when someone you care about is ill. I will send all my positive thoughts her way.

Thanks B-man. Turns out all was benign and she had a successful lumpectomy. Many thanks to all who included her in their prayers.

My mother just had a lumpectomy. This is the third cancer she has beaten. She will start radiation very soon. I will be living with her for a couple of months, so I can take care of my father. Just in case anyone wanted to know.

So sorry to hear about your mother, VV. Hope things go well for her. Since my first post here, three women connected with the department have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
