This is an experiment being put forth by Witchschool, but I think it's an excellent opportunity to do something good and positive for the world, that everyone can participate in. Whether you are pagan, Christian, Buddhist, Taoist, atheist, or even an apatheist, everyone can take a few moments to direct some positive wishes, thoughts, prayers, meditations in the hopes of a "peaceful, loving, and hopeful world."
If you'd like to see the world a better place, take a moment on May 5th and send that out into the cosmos. Maybe there's something to collective energy put toward one goal. And then, just try to be a little bit nicer and a little bit cleaner and a little bit less angry, and make your own little part of the world a better place.

Attracting Positive World Change

Join with us in an experiment in Global Spell-Casting on May 5th. We are asking all willing participants to cast a spell (meditate, pray or whatever is your Way) for love, hope, peace, and prosperity for the world anytime of the day on May 5th. We are simply asking you to light a candle, or other appropriate gestures to focus your thoughts, and during that time, cast your spell for a peaceful, loving, and hopeful world. In this way you will be adding it to a collective desire we hope will create some energy for positive change.

I have no idea whether Global Spell-Casting works or not, but anything that would make people stop and think about the above is good. It is something we should all be striving for, whatever our belief.
